Fawn in my backyard

This is why I love living in the country! As my husband was walking in our woods by the creek he came across this fawn lying in the grass. We didn't want to get to close to him because you could tell he was a little scared by his heavy breathing. Here are the couple of shots I took.

Spring is in the air and I couldn't resist taking some photo's of my daughter with these beautiful flowers. Isn't she just lovely!

What an Experience!

For the first time in my life I had the pleasure of seeing the first few hours of a foal. The first stand, walk, fall and nursing. What an incredible experience it was. All my life I've loved the beauty of horses. These animals are strong yet so beautiful. Here are a few photo's from my experience.
